Join the Philadelphia NAACP for a town hall discussion on “How do we collectively engage communities to vote?” This town hall is open to all Philadelphia residents who want to work with the NAACP to help increase voter turnout.
Find out more »The NAACP will serve as the lead organization in a coalition of groups that will raise awareness about the importance of voting among their members and the voting age public starting in Philadelphia County and expanding to other jurisdictions in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. InLiquid, Juvenile Law Center, and photographer Richard Ross, are collaborating on a multi-site exhibition of Ross’ photographs, audio recordings of detained youth, and a replica of a solitary confinement cell. Satellite venues and partners include Eastern State Penitentiary, U-Penn Law, and the African American Museum in Philadelphia, with the main exhibit to open at the Free Library of Philadelphia’s Parkway Central Library…
